Paula, I was wondering (and i dont think im the only one who wants this) if yall will start letting everyone in pure stock run 9' rearends? Now mainly everyone wants to do it cause u can get the right gear ratio alot easier. But also its a safety issue. See the chevy axles come out really easy. I think theres been like 3 come out this year, and one almost hit a bunch of people including me. And no window bars or wire mesh is gonna stop a tire, wheel, and axle. the ford axles dont come out like the chevy axles do, there just plain dangerous. Just thought id ask cause as far as i know everyone's wanting to run 9' rearends. Ricky Allen #35 If all the drivers get on here and ask too we might get to run them.

Well I can bet that isn't going to happen! I'm thinking that if you want to run a 9" then you should probably be driving a ford or running in factory stock! Putting a 9" ford rearend under a chevy just isn't even close to being PURE stock! ;D ;D ;D

I been runnng a 10 bolt chevy for a few years and never lost an axle yet. Broke studs, bent axles, bent housings but, never lost an axle. Haven't had a problem finding the right gears either. Kinda hard to find a set of 3.23 but 3.08 and 3.42 are plentiful.
I am happy with my 10 bolt. Just wish I could get my brakes to work like I could with my disc brake rear-end.
